How does mib 3 end

J and K pursue and rescue Griffin, acquiring the ArcNet. Upon learning that they must go to Cape Canaveral, Florida and attach the ArcNet to the Apollo 11 rocket so it can be deployed in space, J reveals the real purpose of his mission to K, who initially takes the news badly. The two agents fly there using jetpacks. Griffin also appears in Florida using his multi-dimensional ability. The three are stopped by the military. Griffin shows a skeptical colonel the future, convincing him of the importance of their mission, and the officer assists them in reaching the launch site.

As the agents climb up the rocket's launch tower, they are attacked by both Boris and Boris. Using his time-travel device, J evades an attack by Boris and knocks him off one of the launch tower bridges. K shoots off Boris's left arm which restores the timeline , knocking him off the tower as well. The ArcNet is attached and deploys successfully when the rocket launches, with Boris being incinerated by the rocket's exhaust.

K kills Boris which K had regretted not doing instead of arresting him as he originally did. The colonel's young son arrives and inquires about his father, but rather than tell him the truth, K neuralyzes him and tells him only that his father is a hero. Observing from afar, J realizes that the young boy is himself, the colonel was his father, that K has actually been watching over him all his life, and was there when the timeline changed, thus explaining why he was the only one who remembered K in the alternate His mission complete, J returns to , where he finds a more cheerful K, and thanks him for being his surrogate father.

Goofs The Apollo 11 launch site is referred to as Cape Canaveral. Kennedy 's assassination in The name only reverted back to Cape Canaveral in , way after Apollo 11 was launched. Crazy credits This is the first film in the series not to have an opening credits sequence.

Alternate versions The Chinese restaurant scene has been censored for the mainland China release. The sequence with J and K in the back room has been edited to remove all shots of Wu, thus eliminating the revelation that Wu is actually an alien. A subsequent moment with J neuralyzing a group of ethnically Asian bystanders has also been deleted. User reviews Review. Top review. Entertaining and well made. This film is about Agent J going back in time to rescue Agent K from being murdered by aliens.

My friends say that "Men in Black III" is a brainless comedy, you can go in just for a few laughs and switch your brain off. After watching it, I can safely say that I have another opinion.

It can be politically incorrect too, but it is entertaining and fun to watch. Special effects are realistic, and the scene involving a very tall building made me so nervous that my palms perspired a lot! The ending is very touching; I certainly did not see it coming even though a friend guessed it. I think it is great that "Men in Black III" manages to combine emotional elements in the middle of mainstream blockbuster entertainment.

I look forward to the next film in the series already. W: What's that, dumbass? J: Say that again. W: You want me to? J: I dare you. W: Dumbass. K: Agents In a recent promotional interview for the sci-fi comic book movie threequel, MIB franchise director Barry Sonnenfeld addressed many a topic of interest concerning Men in Black III - including, the much-publicized tumultuous development process for the film which he describes as the most "emotional" of the trilogy and how MIB 3 serves as a fitting finale for the series We didn't want another regular caper where some alien just comes down to threaten Earth, and the Men in Black have to solve it.

The big idea — and it was actually Will's idea, while we were shooting 'Men in Black 2' one night for an exterior shot. He said to me, 'Barry, for 'Men in Black 3,' Agent J needs to go back in time to save Tommy Lee Jones' [character] from some event that's happened decades earlier. He needs to learn something about Tommy's character that he didn't know before.

Ten years later, we're about to come out and show the world what that meant. However, he sums it up with the following statement about the ending. The second and third act is all about tracking down [the villain Boris, played by Jemaine Clement] and [J] renewing his friendship with a different K than the K he knows from 40 years in the future.

What's really cool is that J is constantly wondering why this guy who seems sort of open and happy became the sort of curmudgeon that has been his partner for the last 14 years.
