Pet forest where to find great shaman king
A German shaman who, as his name indicates, is the only living descendant of the famous Dr. Johann Faust VIII is usually a very detailed and patient person who thinks scientifically unless the matter concerns his beloved Eliza. He does not tolerate any kind of insult towards her.
Faust is the embodiment of dedication; he has given up everything for his wife and is willing to do anything, no matter the costs to protect and take care of her. It is this single-mindedness and selflessness that gives him his great strength in the Shaman Fight. Beyond all emotional suffering and somewhat gothic moods, his greatest strength comes from his pure heart; pure because he knows that he only lives to love and protect his dear Eliza. Faust is a slightly insane but incredibly brilliant medical doctor who delights in saving lives.
Naturally, his work reveals facts of his personality. He cures one of his opponents after their shaman fight, an illness that many doctors have given up on previously. Because Faust had devoted much of his time to seeking cures for illnesses, he is utterly devastated when he is unable to save Eliza and goes as far as attempting to resurrect her.
She worked as a nurse with him until she was murdered by robbers who broke into the Faust's home. Eliza's death led her now extremely depressed husband to dig up her skeleton from her grave and enter the Shaman Tournament to bring her back to life.
But when Faust joined Yoh's group, Anna brought back the spirit of Eliza to be reunited with her husband as his Guardian Ghost. Her "Giant Oversoul" form is a giant bat-winged version of herself. After Faust and Eliza reunited, both of them became heavily devoted to Yoh. Initially, she is so shy that she uses her sketchbook and points to pictures in order to tell people what she wants to say. Orphaned at a young age, she was brought to the Asakura family by Yoh's father, Mikihisa Asakura and trained as an ascetic monk.
Tamao's specialty is her ability to perform divinations. She is also an ascetic, like Mikihisa; her spirits are Konchi, a kitsune, and Ponchi, a tanuki. Tamao is named for Tamao Nakamura. When the manga ends the Asakura family owns a resort were Tamao works and lives.
She also became an Enka Singer. For her tropes in Shaman King: Flowers , go here. Both Ponchi and Conchi have a habit of getting themselves beat-up ether by Anna or Tamao herself. He is serious, logical, and emotionally aloof. He has become like this because of how he was raised. Because of his father uncle in the English anime Tao En, Ren had adapted a deep hatred towards humanity and a strong yearning to eliminate them all.
He also believed that his spirit companion, Bason, was only meant to be used as a tool and to treat him as a friend would only result in the spirit taking advantage over him. Ren's anger and hatred came from his father. Forced to train and study at a very young age, Ren had his childhood stolen from him. He hated Tao En for all of his suffering.
Ren tries hard to maintain a tough and confident exterior and is aloof, but deep down would risk his life for his allies. Ren is a particularly impatient person with a very short temper, and isn't afraid to hurt the source of the anger. Bason is the ghost of an ancient Chinese warrior who serves Ren faithfully and obeys him without question.
An Ainu shaman from Hokkaido. Horohoro's main goal in the Shaman Fight is to save the Koro Pokkuru "Minutians", a tiny spirit people.
As part of this goal, he intends to plant a vast field of Butterbur. His guardian ghost is Kororo "Corey". Also in the manga, he becomes the third strongest of the Five Elemental Warriors and gains the Spirit of Rain.
His furyoku is , as seen in Chapter This, oddly, makes him "technically" stronger than both Yoh and Tao Ren, who have more importance in the series than he does, who have only , and , furyoku respectively. Horohoro is good natured and cheerful, but he gets serious in dangerous situations. He argues constantly with his teammate Ren, and they do not seem to get along at all. However, it is shown that he really does care for him when, in the manga, he tells Yoh Asakura that if he can't save Ren, as his friend, Horohoro would never forgive him.
Horohoro is also very secretive about his past not willing to talk about it even to his friends. It is later revealed that Horohoro's real name is Usui Horokeu. Horokeu is the Ainu word for wolf, a divine animal in their culture.
Kororo is a Koropokkoru a race of tiny people in Ainu folklore whose name means "little people under butterbur leaves" , known as Minutians in the English anime.
Surprisingly cute, she is Horohoro's spirit ally. An African-American shaman from New York who wants to be the Shaman King so he can spread comedy and laughter in the world. The only problem with that is His spirit partner is Mic the Jaguar, his mentor's spirit partner while he was in the Shaft Gang in the manga, or inherited from an Old Master he had an Inter Generational Friendship with in the anime ; later obtains Pascal Avaf, and as one of the elemental warriors owns the Spirit of Wind.
Lyserg, who was born in London, England, is also a dowser, a person who is able to find a person or persons using his special abilities. Lyserg uses his Crystal Pendulum for dowsing and Oversouls. He channels his Oversoul into his dowsing pendulum, allowing it to become a rope dart.
His method of fighting with it consists of using high speed attacks that come out too fast for his opponent to react against. At first, Lyserg joins with Yoh Asakura and the others, but later joins the X-Laws, a group dedicated to destroying Hao. When Lyserg joins them he is unsure about the ways the X-Laws try to eliminate Hao. Though Lyserg holds great hatred for Hao, Yoh's own philosophies and personalities keep him from crossing the line.
Lyserg abandons his spirit Morphine for a time for an angel spirit called Zeruel in the anime, but in the manga they are inseparable even when he obtains Zeruel. Finally, he rejoins Yoh's team. Two siblings who enter the Shaman fight with their golem and Mikihisa, Yoh's father.
After seeing the corpse of their murdered father, Seyram's mind apparently broke and she became completely emotionless. Redseb entered the competition to become Shaman King so that he might restore her mind.
However, he also has a darker purpose in mind. Yohmei is Yoh's grandfather and powerful shaman who utilizes leaf shikigami's for many tasks. He is also Tamao's teacher. A master itako who trains young girls in the art at Osorezan. She is short-tempered and practical like her apprentice, Anna.
Kino is Yoh's grandmother. Yoh's father, an ascetic priest working as a spy and messenger for the Asakura family and Tamao's master. He's also the leader of the Kabbalahers, a Shaman Fight team consisting of himself and the two children who control the Golem, Redseb and Seyram Munzer.
He used to be a simple street musician until he met Keiko and became the first boyfriend of hers who didn't dump her after learning of her Shaman powers. Ren's older sister and a dao-shi spellcaster , who can re-animate corpses. She uses Jufu talismans to control her guardian ghost, but after she battles Yoh Asakura and Amidamaru and loses, she lets Bai-Long obey her commands only if he wishes to when she realizes that spirits have hearts too, and they just cannot be controlled.
He is a thinly-veiled reference to Bruce Lee, who died under suspicious circumstances. Technically, he is not a spirit, but a living corpse reanimated using Jun's "ofuda" or talismans.
However, he can be considered to be serving a similar purpose, since he protects Jun and perpetually hangs around her. Pirika later becomes friends with Anna and Tammy. Though not shown in the manga or anime, the author has stated that Pirika's partner spirit is Torara, a Marimo or Torasanpe as said in the Ainu language.
Torara was said to have saved Pirika from drowning at an early age, and since then they became partners. Torara can manipulate water, but is very shy, and for that reason he did not make a debut in the manga or anime. Jeanne is an year-old young girl from France and powerful shaman in her own right. She is the leader of the X-Laws. Her title of Iron Maiden refers to the fact that she spends nearly all her time inside an iron maiden in order to increase her strength by keeping her in a near death state.
She rarely leaves it unless she is desperately needed, believing her suffering will bring justice to the world. Her iron maiden, however, was crushed most likely beyond repair. She is known for her red eyes, pale hair and delicate appearance. She is extremely charismatic; in the English anime Tamamura calls her a "princess" after hearing her speak for the first time. The de facto leader of the group, whose authority is overruled only by Jeanne herself. Marco Lasso is extremely loyal to Jeanne, and will stop at nothing to achieve what he believes will bring about Jeanne's ideals of a world free of corruption and evil.
Like Jeanne, he tends to see issues in black and white; either something is good or evil. Those who join the X-Laws are considered good and those who do not are automatically evil and with Hao Asakura. Because of his utter and complete devotion to Jeanne, he is the most devastated when Jeanne's attempt to destroy Hao by opening the Gate of Babylon fails.
However, while the other X-Laws go to challenge Hao and avenge Jeanne's defeat, dying in the process, Marco becomes the only survivor not counting Lyserg, who leaves the group to help Yoh. The manga reveals details from his past left unsaid in the anime. Marco was originally an entrepreneur who worked with cars and a close friend of Luchist, the leader of the X-Laws at the time.
Marco's company was on the verge of creating a new sports car, but gave up when Hao apparently destroyed his house and killed his entire family. Marco was driven to attempt suicide, but eventually chose the path of revenge. In the anime, she is shown to be more sensitive than Marco and she appears and returns Morphine to a disillusioned Lyserg in the hopes that he will leave that group and not be killed as the rest of the surviving X-Laws attempt to defeat Hao.
The main antagonist, Hao Asakura is a member of the Asakura family. Hao failed to win his first Shaman King tournament but was able to reincarnate with full awareness of his past life in time to participate in the next tournament and again for the current tournament. In the months leading up to the tournament, Hao began to kill the prospective competition while gathering an entourage to assist him in winning the current Shaman King tournament.
Founder and former leader of the X-Laws, Luchist Lasso is by far one of the more powerful shamans working under Asakura Hao. Luchist acts as the main rival to Marco Lasso. Apparently, the two were close friends in their past. However, when Aaskura Hao intervened, the comrades' lives would be forever changed. Community Showcase More. Follow TV Tropes. Came Back Wrong : Faust's refusal to accept his wife death lead him to pursue the necromancer's arts of his famous ancestor. This works little better than it would in Fullmetal Alchemist. Emotionless Girl : What she looks and acts like, because she's nothing more than an animated corpse. But it's best not to mention it to Faust.
Ill Girl : When she was alive. Faust actually managed to find the cure for her. Soulless Shell : It is heavily implied that the "Eliza" seen at first is merely her skeleton, which Faust has dressed up and is putting through the motions of wifely affection such as elaborate walking hand-in-hand moments.
Bringing this up in front of him is a good way to push his button. Anna later summons Eliza's actual soul from the afterlife, reuniting the two, which is what causes Faust to pledge himself to Yoh's faction. Stuffed into the Fridge : Partially.
She did die to push Faust to the Despair Event Horizon , but then was sorta brought back by him as his spirit partner. His goal is to fully revive her. Tamao Tamamura.

Self-Inflicted Hell : Due to his guilt in killing another person, especially his Ancestor Hao, he became trapped in hell unable to forget his sin that he still thinks the shaman fights just finished and didn't notice that years have already passed.
Once Yoh snaps him out of his funk, he finally escapes hell and returns with him to the real world. Squashed Flat : Suffers this when an Oni ambushed him while chatting with Yoh. He gets better since his soul is too strong to be destroyed in hell. Strong Family Resemblance : When Yoh first met him, he is wearing ascetic clothes and a bird mask similar to Mikihisa's that Amidamaru and Yoh mistook him as the latter.
Once unmasked, he looks similar to Patch Hao and Yoh. Warrior Monk : Just like Mikihisa, he's an ascetic monk who's powerful enough to defeat Hao in his previous life. General Tropes. Amazingly Embarrassing Parents : The whole family arrives to Team The Ren's first match, riding Tao Yuan's oversoul, carrying banners and the jiang-shi army organized as a cheering squad for him. Ren is not amused at all. Yuan doesn't want to admit that he is jealous of them.
Chainmail Bikini : Ran's combat outfit, as seen in Red Crimson. Jun and Horo Horo even question it. Cynicism Catalyst : A long history of betrayal attempts and discrimination caused the Tao family to become sheltered from the outside world, basically building their own empire inside their lands.
Evil Counterpart : They start as this for the Asakura family, as a long line of shamans. Ching is a counterpart for Yohmei, as the elder leaders of their families. Tao Ran to Keiko Asakura as the mothers of their families. While Keiko is mostly neutral and keeps a relatively normal life compared to the rest of the family, Tao Ran is still involved in the family business.
Tao Yuan to Mikihisa Asakura. Both men married into their respective families through their wives, and took charge of them. While Tao Yuan has the spirits of every ancestor of the Tao Family, Mikihisa carries the guilt of letting Hao escape and stays separated from the family. Family Portrait of Characterization : After the Shaman Tournament, the Tao family is shown to have closer relationsips with each others, as seen in two photos.
In Flowers , Jeanne and Ren are happily posing together while holding baby Men. In Marcos , the Tao family is overjoyed to welcome Jeanne into the family. This is shown in their wedding picture, where not only the Taos are there, the X-LAWS are also considered family members from Jeanne's side.
They then ask Yoh and the others to defeat dangerous "monsters" that live in the coal mine. As Yoh states that it's a very big request, meanwhile the Lily Five shows up and asks what kind of the reward is.
Yoh then tells Ross and Melanie that they will take care of the "monsters". Later on, Yoh and the others and the Lily Five are heading inside the coal mine. As they are discussing what the reward will be, Ren states that there is no reward because the "monsters" aren't real and Ross and Melanie aren't humans.
As Lyserg asks why they went along even though they all knew that it was not real, Yoh tells him that it would be fun. Just then many spirits appear and start a fight with Yoh and the others. Yoh and the others then start to fight and defeat the spirits while having some fun. Later on outside the coal mine, Yoh and the others are thanked by the spirits for playing with them. But then, Hao shows up and kills the spirits while stating that Yoh shouldn't waste his time.
As Yoh and the others are ready to fight Hao, Hao flies away on the back of his spirit. Later on, Hao meets with Mikihisa and asks him if he will hurry and give "it" to Yoh. Yoh is alarmed by this and tells Anna to pay full price. Anna chastises him for his manner of dress and tells him about Manta and Tamao being inside the village.
Chocolove appears and explains that the next part of the fight will be a three on three-team battle. Anna realizes this fight will not be as easy as they thought. Ren puts his team together on the spot and goes off to register. Ryu wants Lyserg to be the final member of their team, but neither he nor anyone else has seen him or is able to find him. Anna suggests Faust knowing what he can do in battle. They go to find a team member but find Faust with Manta on his lap. Faust asks if he can join them but is shot down by Ryu demanding that Lyserg be their final member.
Faust leaves with Manta still on his lap. The next three months were uneventful though they did get Faust to join and they master Hao's book. The team enters the fight as Team "Funabari Onsen". The Team is put up against Team "Iceman".
Before the fight even starts Yoh uses his power to give a show of the "Spirit of Sword". Pino of the Iceman is thinking over the battle but the fight starts.
Mephisto E. Yamato no Orochi Go. Pino is frightened and backs off and he decides to attack Yoh. Yoh is blasted with a frozen shockwave. The attack does nothing and Yoh is fine due to the techniques he learns from Hao's book. Yoh tells the Icemen to come once more at full power. The Iceman oblige with their most powerful move.
Yoh uses his spirit of sword and defeats the Iceman. The gang celebrates with the Icemen and enjoy a break before they fight again. Manta, following Yoh's instructions, brings the Iron Maiden to resurrect Ren. Horohoro leaves in frustration after hearing Yoh's deal with the X-laws, stating that he will kill Yoh if Ren is still dead.
Jeanne tells Yoh that he is to withdraw from the competition in return for Ren's resurrection. Yoh agrees to these terms, surprising Marco. Team Funbari Hot Springs leaves the X-laws to fulfill their side. Hao upon learning of Yoh's withdrawal sends Opacho on her first errand to ensure that Yoh stays in the Shaman Fight or else he will destroy the Golem and the children.
Anna and Amidamaru convince Yoh to follow his heart. Leading to his confrontation with the X-laws. Using an Over Soul of himself with Mikihisa's spirits as a decoy, Yoh obliterates the angels and comes close to attacking the shamans themselves. However, Lyserg and Marco stop him. Only to get assistance from Luchist with his angel, Lucifer who quickly turns the tides. Yoh reveals that Marco's "masterpiece" is actually Jeanne and that Luchist plans to destroy the X-laws completely.
While using Zeruel to bring Jeanne from her underwater torture. Yoh distracts Luchist from Marco only to be at his mercy. Shamash saves Yoh, who is relieved not to be executed. They destroy Lucifer which causes Luchist to faint. After the training, Ryu comments on how awesome Yoh's new Over Soul is. Sati suddenly appears beside them and reveals that Yoh is to be one of the five warriors.
She challenges Yoh to a fight but because time is running out, she uses a mantra and sends Yoh to Hell. In Hell, Amidamaru and even Harusame appear next to Yoh. When they are greeted by the Oh-Oni from the past, Yoh believes the Matamune is there as well but does not find him. Yoh is led to the first level of Hell where Oh-Oni leaves Yoh to fight his next opponent. On the top of the stairs, he meets a person who looks similar to his father.
Yoh cuts off his mask and calls him an imposter. The stranger replies that he is no imposter but the one and only Asakura Yohken. The very person who defeated Hao way back in years ago. Yohken quickly shouts to Matamune and he uses Ogre Slayer to tear through Yoh's arms. Yoh realizes that it is through willpower and thought that allowed Yohken to summon the Ogre Slayer. Using it himself, he is able to heal his arms and summon the Futunomitama no Turugi.
With Harusame in his right hand as a sword and Futsu-no-Mitama on his left hand as a shield, Yohken realizes the power of such a combination and is pleased to finally face a worthy opponent.
Yohken retorts to using his most powerful technique the Dai Tengu. Somehow, Yoh counters the maneuver with his new technique: Amida-style: Na-Avidya. With it, Yoh purifies the Tengu and wins the fight. Only then does he ask to talk with Yohken and eventually Yohken realizes his arrogance made him blind to his situation.
Suddenly, a Cho-Oni crushes Yohken's spirit and Yoh loses it. He crushes all the Onis except for one who is amazed by Yoh's spirit and tells him to go to Enma Daioh. Yoh is eventually resurrected by Faust just as Ryu begins to attack Hao's men. Yoh takes down them with relative ease even though they were given immense strength from the Star Festival. Afterward, Yoh tracks down Anna in the forest where she under attack by Hao. Yoh convinces Hao to stop and the two have coffee together.
During the match, Yoh reveals his belief that Hao has no friends and is quickly attacked by Horohoro. Ryu intercepts him but loses his arms to his ice attack. Faust tries to heal Ryu but Ren fires a lightning bolt through him. Ren and Horohoro team up and take down Yoh. However, Yoh keeps coming back up because Ren did not have the heart to kill him. The fight is eventually interrupted by the return of Lyserg and the rest of Team "X-I".
Yoh and the company entered the doors of the plants and encountered Silva. Yoh fought Silva with his second Over Soul and Yoh nearly won but Silva used the Patch song to increase his power and ignore wounds. Silva awoke and wondered why he was not dead. He managed to convey his desire not to kill unless he had to and Silva let them go into the plants. Yoh does not have much of a role in the plants until the lake plant where he took Faust's place after Faust had lost to the Patch Official Radim and then the grassland plant when he heals Horohoro of his injuries by placing the spirit of Faust in his body.
As the group finally arrives at the 10th and final "Plant of the Universe" they realize that there is no oxygen and no gravity and begin to wonder how they are supposed to fight in there.
At first, Lyserg suggests that they all protect themselves with their own personal O. Yamato No Orochi so that the rest can fight at full strength. As Ren questions the responsibility he would suddenly have he says that he wants to be useful too as the seven is currently his best place. He enters the final plant and effortlessly kills everyone with a simple glance, excluding Rutherfor , Opacho and Yoh. Opacho commented that the Hao she knew wasn't here anymore and Yoh was able to deduce that Hao was controlling his body even though his spirit had already moved on as the Shaman King.
Yoh then states that this Hao is nothing but a walking dead corpse and decapitates it. After he grins, Yoh's soul and Amidamaru are seen being absorbed by Hao. When Yoh wakes up, he realizes he must be inside the Great Spirit and Hao appears, revealing that he's actually inside him and in the highest society of the Great Spirit, the society of the Shaman King where only people Hao wishes to enter may come.
The two start a conversation during which Yoh reveals that he too dislikes humans because they really are destroying the Earth. But he also admits that he could never go as far as to kill them, so Hao orders him to leave.
Before Hao can destroy the Elemental Warriors with a black hole, the Soul Train appears to anchor the five. Yoh is able to calm down Hao and tells him that his late mother was always beside him as a spirit. After Hao recounciles with his mother, he lets everyone return to Earth but told Yoh that he still hates humankind, only will let them sort out their problems before he passes judgment, and not to be so impertinent.
During the time skip between the main series and Funbari no Uta, Anna has married Yoh and has given birth to a boy named Asakura Hana.
She and Yoh begin traveling the world with their infant son, but while in the Middle East they were killed and ended up in Hao's realm in the Great Spirit. There Anna forces him to revive all three of them through blackmail. Hao does so while implanting Oni's into Hana to act as a fail-safe to prevent him from dying. Sometime after this Hana is given to Tamao to be raised under her care and after Anna and Yoh have been away for a long time, Hana comes to believe Tamao is his real mother.
When Yoh and Anna finally arrive in Funbari they get lost in the airport, something that greatly annoys Ren when he learns of it and calls for Ryu to pick them up. When Chocolove, Ren, and Horohoro discuss their last encounter with Hao, Yoh and Anna finally arrive and Yoh says his catchphrase that " everything will work out in the end " and says that it will because that is what they promised him. He then awkwardly tries to apologize for his and Anna's absence by saying that they had things to do all around the world and could not come back earlier.
At first, Hana seems to be in tears and even stutters the word " daddy " but suddenly attacks Yoh with a Welcome Home Kick right to his gut. As they return to the Funbari Inn, Yoh and Anna sit down at the shrine of their dead friends and family and make their prayers. Towards the end, Ryu prepares a feast and they are all seen having a party together and even Manta arrives at the joy of everyone except Ren who was attacking Horohoro.
Later during the night, a parcel arrives from the Patch Village and Anna comes in to reveal it is a book over the Shaman Fights that had transpired in Tokyo. She says that their battle has not yet ended and that they should remember that the next Shaman Fights are only half a millennium away. As the group muses over who could have written it, Yoh gets up and asks Anna directly while tending to his sore cheek. She says that the next fight maybe five centuries away but she still wants one of the Asakura descendants to take the Shaman King crown, and orders Yoh to start reading it.
She gives Yoh a death glare and says that he dare not forget the promise he made her.
